Steven J. Rothenberg,
Dr. Rothenberg has been in private practice in Darien since 1983. He graduated from SUNY Albany with honors and then continued on to dental school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Rothenberg then completed a general practice residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and a three year fellowship in Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
He has been an attending and the Chief of Prosthodontics at Norwalk Hospital since 1990. He is also a past president of the Connecticut Section of the American College of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Rothenberg and his wife reside in Weston, CT and have two wonderful children. He enjoys skiing, reading, playing tennis and travelling.

Marie E. Falcone,
DMD, MS, FACP
Dr. Marie Falcone is a Board Certified Prosthodontist. She was the first female board certified Prosthodontist in Fairfield County. She is also the first and only female to be the President of the CT section of the American College of Prosthodontics. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Barnard College, Dr. Falcone pursued her dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While there, Dr. Falcone was given a full scholarship to complete her Masters in Bioethics. She graduated top ten in her dental class, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Falcone then went on to specialize in the field of Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She trained under the world’s best faculty and obtained her Masters Degree in Dental Science with a focus on esthetics and dental shade matching. She is also involved in volunteer dental work and has travelled to Sitka, Alaska and Costa Rica to provide dental work for people in need.
Dr. Falcone has a passion for delivering beautiful and functional dentistry, while making her patients feel calm and at ease. She is a perfectionist and is devoted to delivering an outstanding level of care for her patients. With her gentle touch and soothing chair side manner, Dr. Falcone can make even the most phobic patient comfortable in the dental chair.
Dr. Falcone was born and raised on Long Island and now enjoys residing in Fairfield County with her husband (Dr. Zapata) and their two adorable children. She enjoys cooking and baking, travelling and spending time with her family.

Dr. William Zapata is a Board Certified Prosthodontist specializing in esthetic, reconstructive and implant dentistry. After graduating top of his class, he completed his advanced general dentistry residency and fellowship at the University of Connecticut. While there, he also taught third and fourth year dental students the foundations of dentistry. His passions for dentistry lead him to pursue a 3-year specialty program in the field of Prosthodontics at The University of Connecticut. He trained under world-renowned faculty and obtained his Masters Degree with a focus on facial esthetics.
Dr. Zapata has published in the Journal of Prosthodontics and has lectured to several local dental study groups. He takes pride in treating his patients comprehensively, always keeping the patient’s best interest in mind. His kind and gentle demeanor puts his patients at ease and makes for a very pleasant dental experience.
In his free time he loves spending time with his wife (Dr. Falcone) and their two children. He also enjoys playing tennis, squash and racquetball.
